Three-dimensional numerical simulation of a geo-generator shows that the super-fast rotation of the earth’s solid core relative to the mantle is maintained by the coupling between the core and the east hot air in the liquid core. This mechanism is similar to the synchronous motor mechanism and plays an important role in the generation of the Earth’s magnetic field.
