东京在过去10年以来,一直面临生育率降低、城市空间紧张以及墓地价格的突飞猛涨的困境,这些都是城市化的负面后果。由此,这座大都市必须重新理解埋葬与缅怀死者的方式。本项目以当下东京为背景,亦是为未来此类问题做预先设计;批判地审视当下城市墓葬的严峻处境,提出2030年在东京最拥挤的区域——新宿——修建一座垂直墓地,希望以此解决先关社会问题,通过设计的手段将丧葬转变为意蕴丰富、利于环境、永久性的生命礼赞。
Tokyo has been facing the dilemma of urbanization with declining birth rates, tight urban spaces and soaring cemetery prices over the past decade. As a result, the metropolis must redefine the way burial and memory of the dead. This project is based on the present Tokyo as a background and is also designed for such issues in the future. It critically examines the grave situation of tombs in present-day cities and proposes to construct a vertical graveyard in Tokyo’s most crowded area - Shinjuku - by 2030. The solution to the social problems first, by means of design will be funeral into a rich meaning, conducive to environmental, permanent life praise.
