河北省是我国苹果主产区之一,但目前主栽品种仍然是本世纪初从国外引进的老品种。这些品种树体高大。管理不便,而且果实不佳且品质差,远远不能满足国内外市场的需要。为促进苹果品种的更新换代,我省园艺科学工作者,经过多年的试验栽植,从数百种国外引进的苹果新品种中,初选出一批适合在我省栽培发展的苹果新品种。现将这些品种介绍如下,供各地果农在苹果更新品种时参考。
Hebei Province is one of the main producing areas of apple in China. However, the main cultivars are still the old varieties imported from abroad at the beginning of this century.
