锤锻是靠锻锤落下部分重量所积蓄的打击能量,使锻件产生塑性变形的。要使打击能量能较充分地消耗在锻件塑性变形上,锻锤的砧座就必须具有足够的重量,即砧座重量与落下部分重量之比值必须保持在某一范围内。比值低于此范围,生产中砧座将发生跳动,这说明打击能量有不少消耗在弹性变性上,而没有较充分地消耗在锻件塑性变形上,这必然降低锻锤的打击效率。我厂几台自由锻锤,在生产中也经常发生砧座轻微跳动,为提高生产效率,我们有计划的对锻锤进行了改造,加大了砧座重量,提高了砧座与落下部
