Cognitive radio technology uses cooperative joint spectrum sensing technology to detect white space spectrum, and use the appropriate strategy to decide when and which frequency band to perform communications. In a MAC layer protocol designed for cognitive network radio network communications, prior to delivery of any data, each node uses a co-owner control channel to negotiate the channel. The security of the common-controller channel is necessary to ensure that each node in the network Communication security is crucial. A completely new architecture is proposed for the security of co-public control channels in cognitive radio networks.
