阿加莎·克里斯蒂的侦探小说既具有小说的一般特点,又具有侦探小说的独特之处。本文以文体学理论为指导,采用基于语料库的研究方法,对其作品进行词汇、句法和语篇等层面的量化研究。研究发现克里斯蒂侦探小说的一般特点主要体现在:人称代词使用频率高,灵活运用指称和衔接词等语篇衔接手段。同时,其作为侦探小说的独到之处主要包括:词项密度较低,名词化现象相对较少,平均句长较短,语法结构较简单等。
Agatha Christie’s detective fiction not only has the general characteristics of the novel, but also has the unique characteristics of detective fiction. Guided by the theory of stylistics, this paper uses corpus-based research methods to quantify the vocabulary, syntax and discourse of his works. The study found that the general characteristics of Christie’s detective fiction mainly reflected in: the frequent use of personal pronouns, flexible use of cohesion and cohesion and other discourse cohesion means. At the same time, its uniqueness as a detective novel mainly includes: the lower the term density, the less nominalization, the shorter average sentence length, and the simple grammatical structure.
