张皓同志于1988年11月从青海省总工会调至海南省总工会任组织部部长。他坚持四项基本原则,坚持改革开放,反对资产阶级自由化。在去年春夏之交的动乱和反革命暴乱期间,他表现了高度的党性觉悟。动乱一开始,他身为省总机关党总支组织委员和第二党支部书记,及时地组织党员干部学习党报重要社论和文章,反复强调全体党员要坚决贯彻执行中央的指示,明辨是非,不信谣,不传谣,不参加非法组织和游行。他还深入到省邮电局、港务局、海口化纤厂、海口印染厂等单位和部分市县,了解职工思想情况,宣传中央的指示和精神,传达省委和省总工会的部署和主张,同基层工会领导一起研究制定稳定职工队伍的措施,为稳定全省职工队伍作出了积极贡献。
