青海的三叠纪地层概貌青海的三叠系、除柴达木盆地外,均有出露,约为50万平方公里,依据其分布及特点可分为五个区和六个分区。其中北祁连山分区为陆相的山间盆地沉积。南祁连分区及贵德——尖扎一带为地台型沉积。布尔汗布达山及结扎分区属准地台型沉积。早、中三叠世的西秦岭与巴颜喀拉山区为冒地槽沉积,但前者的巴音河分区之天峻县茶卡北山、兴海县哇玉香卡一带和巴塘分区属优地槽沉积,它们被具有混杂岩、蛇绿岩套的三个俯冲带 (深断裂)分开,宽狭不等,相间出现(图1、表1)。其中巴音河分区三叠系下统出露宽度不及10公里,而厚度达4525米。哇玉香卡一带,沿柴达木地块自石炭纪至三叠纪中、基性火山岩发育、地层巨厚,并有基性岩侵入,西秦岭和柴达木地块之间为一深断裂。
