In 1989, our institute purchased the BM4030 automatic biochemical analyzer manufactured by Germany’s Germenheim GmbH in Berlin. In the course of use, there were two kinds of failures. After less complicated repairs and adjustments, they all returned to normal functions. The repair process is now described as follows for reference. 1 Adjustment of the “Knockout” Phenomenon Sometimes after completing a biochemical project in the assay, the test key is changed when converting another biochemical project.
