巴东县龙王庙是巫峡口的一处临江台地遗址,发掘共分三个点。其中两个点发现遗迹遗物,一个点在江边沙地,T1312中出土400余件商周时期石器;另一点在台地上,第7层有少量春秋遗物,可辨器形有盆、罐、釜、豆、鼎、鬲、甗等,4~6层揭示了清代中后期龙王庙址的多种遗迹现象,有房基、暗沟、柱洞、石板路等。
Dragon King Temple in Badong County is a site of Linjiang Terrace in Wu Xia Gap. Excavation is divided into three points. One of the two spots was found relics, one point in the river sand, unearthed in T1312 more than 400 pieces of Shang and Zhou Dynasties stone; the other point on the platform, the seventh floor a small amount of spring relics, recognizable shape with pots, cans, Kettle, bean, tripod, 鬲, 甗 and so on, 4 to 6 layers revealed a variety of relics phenomenon of Longwang temple site in the middle and late Qing Dynasty, such as house base, underground ditch, pillar hole, stone road and so on.
