昌宁鸡飞香茶是在云南省昌宁县鸡飞镇鸡飞村选出的核桃新品种,母树为1株60多年生泡核桃。青果长圆形,灰绿色;坚果卵圆球形,平均单果重11.5 g,大小均匀;平均壳厚0.7 mm,内隔基部革质,内褶壁纸质或退化,可取整仁,果仁白色,圆润饱满,浅灰黑色,肉质细腻,仁甜香,糯性,味醇香,口感细糯,风味佳;出仁率56.45%~62.00%,脂肪含量66.70%,蛋白质含量19.40%;在云南省昌宁县,果实9月上中旬成熟;适宜在低纬度、温暖湿润地区栽植。2011年通过云南省林木品种审定委员会认定。
