寒冷的北方无霜期短。采用保护地栽培措施,实行集约经营,使瓜菜等作物早上市,保证均衡供应,增加经济收益,是我们农业科技人员一项重要任务。通过几年试验示范表明,栽培西瓜应用地膜加小棚技术是达到上述目的一项切实可行的措施。一、技术要点地膜加小棚技术是在覆盖地膜基础上,再扣个40—50厘米高的小拱棚,给西瓜早春生长创造个良好生态环境。 1.育苗。利用温室或室内阳光充足地方培育壮苗。育苗袋用12×12厘米塑料薄膜袋或自制纸袋,剪掉底部两个角,以利渗水透气;装上配制好的营养土,装至距袋口上端处1厘米左右,以备浇水、播种;随装袋随运往育苗场所,一个紧贴一个排好。
