西部民族地区图书馆在开展多元文化服务时要侧重服务于当地各少数民族民众和群体。文章借鉴国外图书馆开展多元文化服务的理念、实践与研究经验,结合我国西部少数民族的现实情况,提出建立多元文化馆藏、加快少数民族语言文字的信息化建设、提高馆员多元文化素养、进行资源共享、加强馆际合作等是实现西部民族地区图书馆多元文化服务的重要途径。
When carrying out multi-cultural services, the libraries in the western minority nationalities should focus on serving the local people and groups in all ethnic groups. Based on the concept, practice and research experience of foreign libraries in developing multi-cultural services, combined with the reality of ethnic minorities in western China, this paper proposes the establishment of multi-cultural collections, accelerating the informatization construction of minority languages and improving the multi-cultural accomplishments of librarians. Sharing resources and strengthening inter-museum cooperation are important ways to realize the multi-cultural services of libraries in western minority areas.
