Task-based teaching rose in the 1980s. In recent years, this method of language teaching has gradually gained popular support and has aroused the concern of the majority of English educators. The Ministry of Education of China has clearly approved and advocated the task-based teaching methods in the “English Curriculum Standards”, which means that the application of the task-based teaching methods is very promising. At the same time, it also indicates the basic trend of English teaching reform in the future. As far as the theoretical framework is concerned, the main flow of the task-based instructional method is to decompose learning content as a task - to perform the task - to summarize the task of evaluation. A large number of teaching practice found that the task-based teaching methods can effectively stimulate students ’enthusiasm for learning and improve their learning efficiency by giving play to the students’ initiative.
