Fujian Province, the first vision, hearing, language, intelligence, physical and mental illness five disability sampling survey, according to the unified national deployment, in April 1, 1987, after a period of 1 month. Now the survey results are reported below. MATERIALS AND METHODS The survey was conducted using the method of probabilistic proportion sampling and 16 counties, cities and districts (one type of city: Taijiang District in Fuzhou, Yongcheng District in Zhangzhou; Yong’an City in the second type; coastal areas in the low hills : Putian County, Changle County, Nanan County, Xianyou County, Fuan County, Zhaoan County; Mountain: Daejeon
