《荷花淀》一文描写几个妇女寻夫未遇、归途中碰上日本鬼子船、急忙往荷花淀里躲,可是,在这紧张关头为什么要写“几只野鸭扑楞楞飞起”,这是不是多余的闲笔? 这不是闲笔,瞻前顾后可知,此句描写在文中具有多方面的作用:首先,这里描写野鸭与文章前面描写淀里的荷花、菱角、芦苇和鱼一样,都是为了显现荷花淀的富庶,并且还能起到点缀的作用:莲藕、菱角、芦苇生长在水面,鱼类活动在水底,加上野鸭在水上飞动,荷花淀的物产就更加显得富饶和诱人。
