早在日本德川幕府后期,一批经世学家就酝酿出台了大陆扩张思想,并产生了不可小觑的影响。随着西力东渐,“海外扩张补偿论”又登堂入室,逐渐成为明治政府的国策,并展开了吞并琉球、侵略台湾的切实步骤。
As early as the late Tokugawa shogunate in Japan, a group of modern scientists brewed the idea of expanding the mainland and produced a considerable impact. With the gradual eastward movement of East and West, the theory of compensation for overseas expansion entered the chamber again and gradually became the national policy of the Meiji government and started the practical steps of annexing Ryukyu and invading Taiwan.
