1 Status Quo of Export-oriented Economy in Jiangsu Metallurgical Industry 1.1 Export Growth Stably Stood During the “Seventh Five-year Plan” period, the total foreign exchange earned from exports in 1986-1989 was 74.1 million U.S. dollars, up from 130 million U.S. dollars in 1990.
