正定县的棉花,一是产量不高,二是产量不稳。从1970年到1981年,只有6年过百斤,12年的平均产量也不过只有89.5斤。最高的1980年亩产137斤,最低的1978年仅35斤。1981年12万亩棉田亩产125斤。棉花产量不稳的现状,教育了我们,得出棉花生产必须按照经济规律与自然规律办事,掌握科学植棉的主动权。
