近年来,开架阅览已成为图书馆阅览室普遍采用的一种阅览体制,但因为乱架、丢失和破损率较高而给工作人员带来很大困难。我馆结合实际,采取了一些具体措施,有效的降低了“三率”。(1)采取自由开架与安全开架相结合的阅览方法。将读者利用率最高的那部分书单独排架,读者可进去自选,带出时将书内卡交值班人员与其阅览证同放一处,故为安全开架。其余的图书和期刊则实行自由式开架。(2)自制图书监测设备。在阅览室的墙壁、柱子和阅览架上方安置不同角度的镜子,利用镜子的反射,值班人员坐在工作台前便能将全室的书、刊、人尽收眼底。(3)建立值班人员交接班制度和丢失赔偿制度。(4)重点书刊重点监护。工作责任心强的值班人员,应该对阅览室的重点书刊做到心中有数,进行重点监护,并做交班记录。(5)实行代书卡制度。一是能有效制止书刊乱架现象;二是可知道某期刊在谁手中,便于对重
