新世纪的健康格言是:“最好的医生是自己,最好的药物是时间,最好的心情是宁静,最好的运动是步行。” 多年来的耳闻、目睹、实践、体验,充分说明走路能抗衰老,走路能延缓生命,走路能治顽疾,走路使人长寿。 生命在于运动,防老离不开运动,运动离不开腿。腿的灵活程度是一个人老化程度的重要标志。步履蹒珊是老年人衰老的最早特征。老化的顺序是骨骼、肌肉、皮肤,尤其是腿部,因为它的负担最大,是人体的支柱。 俗话说:“饭后百步走,活到九十九”;“每天遛个早,保健又防老。”唐代著名医学家享年114岁的孙思邈曾经说过:“养生之道,常欲小劳,但莫大疲,走路乃小劳也。”
