Although the world economy is generally in astate of depression particularly since the ter-rorist attacks in the US,China’s domestic con-sumption of copper has kept increasing over thepast months.Statistics from the State shows that in the firstthree quarters of this year,China’s GDP grewby 7.6 per cent year-on-year,which is muchhigher in comparison to the world majoreconomies in other areas.
