由中国石油开发公司(CNODC)和新西兰石油勘探公司签定的洞庭石油对外合作合同,自1991年1月正式执行以来,在中外双方的共同努力下,完成勘探投资618.7万美元。新西兰石油公司在地震数据采集、处理的基础上,做了大量的分析研究工作,提出洞庭盆地地化研究现状和盆地含油远景等系列研究报告,明确提出了将白垩系作为主要勘探目的层的论点。
The overseas cooperation contract of Dongting Petroleum signed by China National Petroleum Development Corporation (CNODC) and New Zealand Petroleum Exploration Company has completed the exploration investment of 6,187,000 U.S. dollars with the joint efforts of both China and foreign countries since its formal implementation in January 1991. Based on the seismic data collection and processing, New Zealand Petroleum Company has done a great deal of analysis and research work and put forward a series of research reports on the status of the geotextile research in the Dongting Basin and the oil potential of the basin. It clearly put forward the thesis that Cretaceous is the main exploration target layer .
