在史前期的石器时代,我们的祖先就在河南这一地区,长期地劳动、生息、繁衍,创造了灿烂的古代文明,为人类社会进入高级文明阶段奠定了重要的物质基础.一百多万年前,原始人类就生息在中国辽阔的土地上。1965年在云南元谋发现距今约170万年的猿人化石,被称为元谋猿人。最近在湖北郧县发现了距今一、二百万年的南方猿人头盖骨化石,被认为是已知的中国境内最早的原始人类遗迹,属于世界上最早的文化之一.
In the prehistoric Stone Age, our ancestors lived and worked, lived and multiplied in this part of Henan Province, creating a splendid ancient civilization that laid an important material foundation for the entry of human society into the advanced stage of civilization. Years ago, primitive humans lived on the vast expanse of land in China. In 1965 in Yuanmou, Yunnan Province, an ape-man fossil dating back 1.7 million years ago was discovered and named Yuanmou ape-man. Recently found in Yunxian County, Hubei Province, one or two million years ago, the southern ape skull fossil, is considered to be known as the earliest primitive human relics in China, belonging to one of the earliest cultures in the world.
