近年来沉积学和岩相古地理学,在普查、勘探和预测沉积、层控矿产中的作用,越来越显得重要。为了交流经验,总结成果,推广应用,中国地质学会沉积地质委员会和贵州省地质学会联合召开的我国首届岩相古地理学术讨论会,10月6日至14日于贵阳市举行。参加会议的有地矿、石油、煤炭、化工、冶金、核工业部、中国科学院及院校系统的代表160余人。会议共收到论文260篇,大会宣读10篇,分组会宣读60篇。
In recent years, sedimentology and lithofacies palaeogeography have become more and more important in the census, exploration and prediction of sedimentary and stratiform control minerals. In order to exchange experiences, summarize the achievements, popularize and apply the first lithofacies paleogeography symposium jointly held by China Geological Society Sedimentary Geological Commission and Guizhou Geological Society, held in Guiyang from October 6 to 14. More than 160 representatives from the mines, petroleum, coal, chemical, metallurgy and nuclear industries, Chinese Academy of Sciences and institutions attended the conference. A total of 260 papers were received at the conference, 10 were read by the General Assembly and 60 were read by the sub-group.
