The First Lady,第一夫人,历来都不是一个正式的官衔,也不是一项职业。但她却扮演着举足轻重的角色。作为一国元首的妻子,第一夫人永远处于政治的灰色地带之中,在冷冰冰的政治体制及亲和善解的人情之间,起着桥梁的作用。那些最聪明的第一夫人,既以最亲近的距离协助丈夫,同时又懂得在什麽时候收敛起自己的精明,站在丈夫身后,不至锋芒太露,令第一家庭更完美(起码要看起来完美)。美国大选临近,新任第一夫人也会随着新总统诞生而来,就让我们趁此时机,检视一下“第一夫人”这个特殊物种。
The First Lady, First Lady, has never been a formal title or a profession. But she plays a decisive role. As the wife of the head of state, the First Lady is always in the gray area of politics and plays a role as a bridge between the cold political system and the kind-hearted understanding of human beings. The smartest first ladies, helping her husband with the closest distance and at the same time know how to converge on her own shrewdness, stand behind her husband and do not bleed, making the first family more perfect (at a minimum Perfect). With the recent U.S. presidential election, the new First Lady will also be born with the birth of the new president. Let us take this opportunity to examine the special case of First Lady.
