山东建筑大学位于山东省省会济南市,其前身是原国家城市建设部1956年创建的济南城市建设学校, 1978年经国务院批准更名为山东建筑工程学院,2006年2月更名为山东建筑大学。建校50年来,学校主动面向山东经济建设主战场,不断强化学科专业建设,现已初步发展成为一所以土木建筑类专业为特色,工学、理学、文学、农学、法学、管理学交叉渗透、协调发展的多科性高等院校。
Shandong University of Architecture is located in Jinan City, capital of Shandong Province. Its predecessor is Jinan City Construction School, founded in 1956 by the former Ministry of Construction of the People’s Republic of China. In 1978, it was renamed as Shandong College of Architecture and Engineering with the approval of the State Council. In February 2006, it was renamed Shandong University of Architecture. Over the past 50 years since its establishment, the school has taken the initiative to face the main battlefield of Shandong’s economic construction and has continuously strengthened the construction of its disciplines.
