In the study of the massacre of Nanjing massacre, the academic community both at home and abroad not only controversy about the actual number of victims, but also derived different academic views around this issue. This article argues that there needs to be a relatively fixed landmark for the massacre of the Nanjing Massacre. The conclusion that “more than 300,000 people” died after a long period of historical inspection and inspection is the mainstream view of the Chinese government and academia. It is a more sensible choice to state the number of people judged by the tribunals in Tokyo and Nanjing. The current study of the number of victims should be out of refinement, seeking more, for constant errors. As an academic issue, the number of people killed should be discussed.
