博尔赫斯的作品具有强烈的迷宫意识,即现实与梦境之间的界线是模糊不清的。他认为不仅作品中的人物生活在现实与梦境的交替融合,甚至观众也会迷失其中。《马可福音》是博尔赫斯的佳作之一,尤其是其让人出乎意料的结局;但是鲜见对该作品的深入分析。因此,从该故事的结局入手,作者将从人物、作者以及读者三者之间的模糊关系来分析该故事结尾的文学意象“十字架”。
Borges’s work has a strong maze of consciousness, that is, the line between reality and dream is ambiguous. He believes that not only the characters in the works live in an alternate fusion of reality and dream, but even viewers will lose themselves. The Gospel of Mark is one of Borges’s masterpieces, especially its surprising ending, but rare in-depth analysis of the work.
