恩格斯说过,任何一门科学,只有应用数学,才能成为一门严密的学科。目前,对思想政治工作效果的评估还较多地停留在定性的描述,要使思想政治工作效果评估更加科学化,就必须探索定量化评估的方法。为此,笔者在上海石化总厂及其它一些工厂作了一个时期的调查研究,试图运用现代数学的一些原理和方法,对企业思想政治工作效果的定量化评估作一些初步的探索。

At present, the assessment of the effectiveness of ideological and political work still remains more of a qualitative description. To make the evaluation of ideological and political work more scientific, it is necessary to explore quantitative assessment methods. For this reason, the author made a period of investigation and research in the Shanghai Petrochemical Plant and other factories, attempting to use some principles and methods of modern mathematics to make some preliminary explorations of the quantitative assessment of the effect of the enterprise’s ideological and political work.
