GeneWolfe, born in New York, USA in 1931, grew up in Texas and lives in Illinois. Jean, a graduate of the University of Houston, has been working in a BusinessWeek magazine since participating in the Korean War and did not switch to full-time writing until he retired in 1984. However, if you ask us to name the most popular or influential science fiction writer of the 20th century, it is likely that Jean Wolfe will rank among them. Jean was 37 years old when he published his first science fiction, called “Trip, Trap”, can be described as late bloomer.
