在一次好新闻颁奖仪式上,一位记者接过获奖证书后说道:“我的会议新闻获奖是头一回,这将激励我研究、采写好会议新闻。”听君一席话,感慨何其多。记者在采访活动中,谁都或多或少采写过会议新闻。可到推荐评好新闻时,尽管有的会议新闻还可以,但作者不敢自荐,新闻单位也不愿评。这也难怪,现在会议报道太多,新闻单位和读者都在呼吁压缩、改进会议报道。于是,评好新闻活动就较少考虑会议新闻了。其实,这是一种误解。“压缩”,不是取消;“改进”,是为了把会议报道搞得更好。说到底,会议并不是没有新闻,关键在于记者的政治敏感和新闻敏感。
