通过对苏棉6号、泗棉3号、中棉12号转基因抗虫棉杂交种与各自对照品种的生长发育特性研究表明,转基因抗虫棉杂交种棉苗生长快,植株较高,果枝较长,叶片大,营养生长较旺;果枝数和果节数多,现蕾强度低。除苏棉6号抗虫棉杂交种成铃强度较高外,泗棉3号及中棉12的转基因抗虫棉杂交种相对较低,中上部成铃率低于对照。在产量上以苏棉6号抗虫棉杂交种极显著地高于对照,泗棉3号及中棉12抗虫棉杂交种与对照相差不大。因此,转基因抗虫棉杂交种在生产上应用时,必须协调好前期的营养生长,促进后期养分向棉铃输送
