中国电影110周年,它其实是与国家的现代化进程完全同步的,按照1905年中国电影诞生,到1915年五四新文化运动的开始,电影也为新文化运动做了非常充分的准备,所以可以说,整个中国电影发展是伴随着中国现代化的进程推进的,或者说是伴随着中国从一个封建、专制的国家向一个现代国家转型的全过程,在这个过程中它一方面跟中国的政治、经济、科学技术、文化发展风雨同舟,另一方面它也在这个过程中铸造了中国的现代化精神和现代化品格,所以中国电影为中国的现代化做出了巨大的贡献,一方面它反映了中国110年的社会改变和社会的发展,另一方面又成为这110周年中国人情感、心灵的记录。
