《阿房宮賦》的“戌卒叫,函谷举,楚人一炬,可怜焦土!”参原同志在《〈阿房宫賦〉,譯解》(見《人民教育》1962年2月号)中說:“戌卒:充軍的囚徒,这里指的陈胜、吳广”。此解殊为不妥。《史記陈涉世家》載:“二世元年七月,发閭左适戍漁阳,九百人屯子大澤乡,陈涉、吳广皆次当行,为屯长。”“发閭左”有两种解釋,《史記索隐》說:“閭左謂居閭里之左也。秦时,复除(免役)者居閭左。今力役凡在閭左者,尽发之也”。又說:“凡居以富强为右,貧弱为左。秦役戍多富者,役尽兼取貧
