我走入中国传统语言文字学的教学与研究领域,已经整整44年,从对这门学问知之甚少并怀有戒备,到下定决心愿意终身为之献身,每一步都是在陆宗达先生的带领下跨出的。我前后在陆先生身边学习和工作了5次,累积到一起的实数是整整的12年——1954年本科跟陆宗达先生学习现代汉语,1961—1964年做陆宗达先生研究生,1979年做陆先生高级访问学者并协助先生上研究生的课,1980年在陆先生指导下写书,1983年正式调进北师大做陆先生的助手。我一生的学习、教书和研究,都受益于自己的老师。先生在中国传统语言学的继承和发展上的崇高地位,对待师承的执著与忠诚,在治学和为人上的敦厚与睿智,以及他能够对自己的学生产生的深厚影响,都是我终身向往又难以企及的
I have entered the teaching and research field of Chinese traditional language and philology for 44 years. From the very little knowledge and caution to this knowledge, I decided to dedicate my life to lifelong endeavors. My life's study, teaching and research all benefit from my own teacher. My lofty status in inheritance and development of traditional Chinese linguistics, her dedication and loyalty to teachers, her dignity and wisdom in studying and being human, and the profound influence that he can exert on his students are my longing for life Unattainable
