Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu Expressway is a key construction project during the period from “75” to “85” in China. It is also the first inter-provincial expressway built and managed by the World Bank in China. This highway was first planned in 1977, started in December 1987 and opened to traffic in September 1993.
