在青岛奥帆中心见到盖瑞·乔布森并非偶然。与2008年时作为NBC解说员来到青岛进行奥帆赛转播不同,这次他以国际帆船联合会副主席的身份来参加国际帆联世界杯帆船赛青岛站比赛的相关活动。身份与工作的转变,并没有减少他对帆船运动的热情,面对一个个与帆船有关的问题,他侃侃而谈,更为青岛发展帆船运动出谋划策。
Seeing Gary Jobson at Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center is no accident. In 2008, when he came to Qingdao as an NBC narrator to broadcast the Olympic sailing event, he participated in the related activities of the ISAF World Cup Qingdao race as the vice chairman of the International Sailing Federation. The change of identity and work did not lessen his enthusiasm for sailing. In the face of problems related to sailing, he talked about and made plans for the development of sailing in Qingdao.
