30例中、晚期癌症病人均有较长时间的剧烈疼痛症状，并已用过各类镇痛药。观察期间用视觉摸拟评分法记录服用SPES24h内的镇痛作用、用药24h后的疼痛情况及其毒副作用。结果口服SPES0．9g的病人在24h内止痛作用优于其他镇痛药，VAS计分平均降至4分以下，无明显毒副作用。SPES为纯中草药制剂，使用简便，安全，可作为减轻癌痛的主要药物之一。
Thirty patients with moderate or advanced cancer all had severe pain symptoms for a long period of time and had used various kinds of analgesics. During the observation period, visual analog scale was used to record the analgesic effect within 24 hours of taking SPES, the pain after 24 hours, and its toxic and side effects. Results The oral administration of SPES 0.9g was superior to other analgesics in 24 hours. The VAS score decreased to an average of 4 points or less, with no obvious toxic or side effects. SPES is a pure Chinese herbal preparation that is easy to use, safe, and can be used as one of the main drugs for reducing cancer pain.
