大班英语教学在现在的民办高校英语教学中非常普遍,特别是很多专业英语课也采用大班教学的形式,很多教师认为会影响教学效果,争议不断。英语教师如何运用动机这个影响学生语言学习成败关键性非智力因素有效地激发学习者的外语学习动机,是每一位民办大学英语教师值得思考的问题。本研究从师生双重视角出发结合民办高校大班英语教学的特点进行研究,分析了民办大学外语老师动机激发策略的实施现状,尝试去发现其存在的问题,探讨适用于我国民办大学大班英语教学的动机激发策略。
