〔原文〕肃宗为太子,常侍膳。尚食置熟俎,有羊臂(?)。上顾太子,使太子割。肃宗既割,余污漫刃,以饼洁之,上熟视不怿。肃家徐举饼(口甚)之,上大悦,谓太子曰:“福当如是爱惜。” 王谠《唐语林》〔译文〕唐肃宗为太子时,经常陪同父亲唐玄宗用膳。有一次食物放在切割熟食的砧板上,其中有只羊的前腿。皇上看着太子,让太子割肉。肃宗将肉分割后,肉的油汁沾在刀刃上,太子便用饼将刀擦干净,皇上一直看着他非常不高兴。肃宗慢慢地举起饼来大口吃着,皇上非信高兴,对太子说:“对待食物,就应当象这样爱惜。”
