作为一份地方性的都市类报纸,《晶报》在“连宋大陆行”前后19天内,共刊出112个专版的特别报道;先后派出4名记者,分赴南京、上海、西安、长沙、湘潭、北京等地采访,自采稿件70余篇;刊出多篇独家报道,刊出评论10余个版,并刊发本报社评多篇;刊发的对台湾问题专家的专访等报道,被海内外数十家媒体转载和引用。地方性都市报在重大时政报道中虽然有很多先天的弱势,但仍然可以有所作为,做出严肃的、有影响和深度的“大报道”。正确的做法应是:一、确保导向正确,谨慎进行突破和创新;二、主动参与历史进程,见证和记录时代足音;三、努力增强贴近性,从同题资源中挖掘独家报道;四、增强评论力量,发出自己的声音;五、站稳“观察制高点”,做出深度、厚度和影响力。
