就窑业制品而言,精细陶瓷领域是不言而喻的,就连陶瓷、玻璃、耐火材料等领域所使用的主要合成原料,也要求高品位化。在国内,由于长期开采,天然原料品位已经下降。解决的办法,一是谋求海外的高品位原料,二是确立、实施窑业原料的精制技术。窑业原料的精制,由于原料价格低、产品形状多样、用途不一等原因,同金属矿物的选矿比较有很多困难,所以技术发展较为迟缓。下面就主要窑业原料的种类和现在所实施的精制方法及试验研究过的方法,结合本社(共立窑业原料株式会社,下同)的操作实例,分别介绍如下。
