In ancient Chinese, “now” is used as a time noun in the usual case, and is compared with “old” and “elder” and translated as “now” or “today”. However, “this” can also be used as a false conjugation, translated as “if” or “if.” In many books on ancient Chinese translations, the “present” used as a hypothetical conjunction is translated into “now”. For example: 1 Translate “Today’s King and the Common People, Wang Shuo” (“Zhuanggejianjian Mencius”) translates as “Now that you can share happiness with the people. You can unify the world.” 3 “Is to kill you like this, I can’t get a wall at the same time, but I’m sure that Zhao Qin Huan” (“Lian Po Xiang Xiangru Biography”) translates as “If you kill Xiang Xiangru, you still can’t get that piece of Baoyu, but you cut it off.”
