我想就开展医院精神文明建设与整个医院建设的关系讲一点意见。从各地的经验看,凡是医院精神文明建设搞得好的地方,就是两者关系处理得好;凡是搞得不好的地方,就是两者关系处理得不好。我们搞四化建设,并不是什么一般的现代化,而是社会主义的现代化。要建设社会主义,必须充分发挥人的主观能动性,发挥现有的人力、物力、财力的作用,挖掘内部潜力,搞好整顿和改革,进行调整和提高。开展医院精神文明建设活动,既是整个医院建设的奋斗目标之一,又是推动医院全面建设的强大动力。二者是一回事,而不是两回事。我们必须自觉地把精神文明建设和整个医院的建设
I would like to make some comments on the relationship between the development of hospital spiritual civilization and the construction of the entire hospital. Judging from the experiences of various localities, all the places where hospitals have built a good spiritual civilization are the relations between the two. The places that do not perform well are the relations between the two. When we engage in the construction of four modernizations, it is not an ordinary modernization but the modernization of socialism. To build socialism, we must give full play to people’s subjective initiative, give full play to the existing role of manpower, material resources, and financial resources, tap the internal potential, do a good job of rectification and reform, and make adjustments and improvements. The development of hospital spiritual civilization construction is not only one of the goals of the entire hospital construction, but also a powerful driving force for the comprehensive construction of the hospital.
