牧龙村发现的3座六朝砖室墓,据墓葬形制和出土遗物判断,M1、M2时代为东晋中期,M3时代为孙吴建衡元年,墓主为相府吏缪承。三墓规模虽不大,但具有重要的学术价值。M1、M2墓室四角的砖柱,在南京地区东晋墓葬中是首次发现。M3出土的环状乳神兽镜、青瓷龙首罐、笔洗、唾壶等遗物比较珍贵,另有一方砖刻买地券是研究当时土地制度的重要实物。
