1986年秋末,福建电视台及《福建青年》杂志分别在黄金时间和显要的位置报道了三明钢铁厂小高炉青年联谊会的事迹。一时,许多记者争相前来采访,一些家长纷纷来信要求“代培”他们的子女。一个小小的青年联谊会,为什么会引起人们广泛地关注呢?事情还得从头说起。“小高炉”是福建三明钢铁厂最大的福利区,共有1.5万多职工家属。这里远离市区,文化生活比较单调,是全厂最不稳定的地方。从第一次“严打”以来,有20多名犯罪青年受到了法律制裁,其中5人被判处死刑,250多个青年在公安机关“挂号”。于是,人们把“小高炉”看作是“是非之地”,也是思想政治工作的“因难户”、“重点户”。怎样才能迅速改变这种状况呢?总厂领导经调查后队为,由于青年人阅历、经历不同,气质、爱好、特长不同,对人生的思考也不尽相同,但他们都希望得到别人的尊
In the late autumn of 1986, Fujian TV Station and Fujian Youth magazine reported the deeds of the Youth Federation of Small Blast Furnaces in Sanming Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. during prime time and prominent positions respectively. For a time, many journalists came to interview and some parents wrote letters asking them to “send their children” on their behalf. Why does a small youth fraternity cause widespread concern?
