辯證唯物主義世界觀是科學的世界觀,只有掌握了反映客觀世界的規律的眞正科學基本知識,才能奠定辯證唯物主義世界觀的基礎。因此為了培養學生成為具有辯證唯物主義世界觀的新人,在教學中首先就要注意知識的科學性,要把自然和社會的客觀規律毫不歪曲地教給學生。在生物教學中,爲使學生獲得正確的生物科學知識,認識生物界的規律,就必須根據教學大鋼的精神用辯證唯物主義的觀點,把生物的生活现象講解給學生。我在講植物學緒論時,會領導學生到學校附近的公園去,於講解同時引導學生觀察自然界中各種植物的生活,特別要他們注意觀察生活在不同環境——水中、濕地、樹林間、山坡上的植物是不是相同。給學生講解後,我叫他們採集幾種生活在不同環境的植物回家栽培。後來我看到有的學生筆記上寫
