有关研究显示:肠道菌群失衡和免疫系统遭破坏是造成慢性疲劳综合症(CFS)发病原因之一,乳酸菌可以用来预防和减轻肠道功能紊乱,使身体内各细胞水平恢复正常,这对患有慢性疲劳综合症的病人或许有帮助。研究的目的是评价副乾酪乳杆菌(lactobacillus paracasei F19)、嗜酸乳杆菌(Lactobacillus acidophilus NCFB1748)和乳双歧杆菌(Bifidobacterium lactis Bb12)对慢性疲劳综合症病人的治疗效果。根据1994年美国疾病控制和预防中心制定的CFS标准,15个符合该标准的病人参与了此项研究。这些病人都患有严重的疲劳综合症。试验前2周观察,接下来4周服用乳酸菌,然后观察4周,最后对其健康状况进行评估,并且对粪便中的微生物数量也进行分析研究。在研究期间,这些病人的精神面貌和神经认知能力都得到了改善,在疲劳程度和身体运动评分方面没有明显变化。在肠胃菌群方面的变化差异不显著。结果显示其中6名病人的病情得到明显改善。研究表明利用乳酸菌来改善健康和治疗慢性疲劳综合症是有可能的,值得进一步研究。

The aim of the study was to evaluate the therapeutic effect of Lactobacillus paracasei F19, Lactobacillus acidophilus NCFB1748 and Bifidobacterium lactis Bb12 on patients with chronic fatigue syndrome. According to the CFS standard set by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in 1994, 15 eligible patients participated in the study. These patients all suffer from severe fatigue syndrome. Two weeks before the test, lactic acid bacteria were taken for the next four weeks and then observed for four weeks. Finally, their health status was evaluated, and the number of microorganisms in the feces was also analyzed. During the study, the mental and neurocognitive skills of these patients were improved, with no significant changes in fatigue and physical activity scores. There was no significant difference in the changes of gastrointestinal flora. The results showed that six of the patients’ condition had been significantly improved. Research shows that the use of lactic acid bacteria to improve health and treatment of chronic fatigue syndrome is possible and worth further study.
