教育部2011年颁布的《义务教育英语课程标准》第四部分实施建议中,提倡教师要“结合实际教学需要,创造性地使用教材”。并明确指出:教材“是实现教学目标的重要材料和手段。在教学中,教师要善于根据教学的需要,对教材加以适当的取舍和调整”。我们知道,由于教学情景的多样性、复杂性、独特性,无论何种版本的教材,都不可能适合所有的学校、所有的班级。因此,要求教师在充分了解和把握课程标准、学科特点、教学目标、教材编写意图的基础上,以教材为载体,灵活有效地组
